I know, you are thinking what is with this nut..she only works 3 days....I just feel off kilter and need I do not know what...but when it shows up I will know it. I bought some Rit Dye yesterday. I always dye with food stuff and drink things. But I thought I would give this a try. Probably try it out tomorrow. Speaking about tomorrow...I will have a better grip on things with my stitching. I am still working on a few exchanges and a gift so I cannot show you that. If you would like to see what I accomplished Fred accomplished, stopped by
my other the mean time, hope you have a good weekend....glad you dropped by.

Work today....

Work today...sounds like a long day and hard work. It is only part time and only sometimes hard. Yesterday my mail delivery brought me this...
When I ordered it from The Attic I asked that they pick out a piece of linen for me to stitch the Remember Me pattern...they sent me 32 ct Lakeside, V Pearled Barley. I know the picture does not do it justice, but it is soft and lovely. The Journey is full of lovely projects and wonderfully written pages. If you have not gotten it yet...what are you waiting for!?
Forecast for today is another day in the 80's...ahh....the Gold Finches are all chatting...looking for food is what it is all about! Mr H is finally back to normal himself...all better! What a relief...he is back to cooking my meals! I shall not starve and wither away. Last night was Linguine and Shrimp.
I managed to stitch on the Tulip needle book...let's go over to my other place and see...
Have a nice day...glad you had the time to stop by.

Feels like Spring is here

Such a lovely day. It seems to me that March is, well marching along...I looked at the date and wonder where the days are going. I love this time of year, I get to sit outdoors and read or stitch...the temps are comfortable in the low 80's. Mr H will begin to replace what plants were lost this winter and begin to put in a few new flowers. Our beautiful Honeysuckle is almost a total that will get cut back and one or two others need some serious trimming.I want to plant my herb fresh herbs.
Mr H is finally feeling okay...he must be, he worked in the yard for a bit yesterday. Speaking of Gift Certificate was emailed to me from Down Sunshine Lane that I won from Rory...I mean Kathy...for his birthday drawing. I narrowed my choice down to 2 patterns...later today I will decide. Speaking of patterns, I did get a little...emphasis on little stitched on Tulip Accessories...hopefully more today. So grab your cup and follow me to my other always I hope you have a great day. Glad you stopped by.

For Today
Outside my window
the sun is in and out...some clouds in the sky
I am thinking
what shall I take to the doctor's appointment to stitch.....
I am thankful for
Mr H is feeling much much better
From the kitchen
shall I have coffee or tea with my English muffin
I am wearing
shorts and barefoot....
Around the house
just quiet...
I am hearing
the landscaper's are very noisy today
On my mind
lots of things floating around in there
Plans for the day
Mr H's doctor appointment
From my camera's eye
Lovely to see in the garden this day...
I am hoping
You have a wonderful day

Had a busy time last night. My dear next door neighbor called me to ask me to come over, she was just not feeling well at all. Of course I went quickly, as she is going to be 90 this May . She looked pale....I suggested we go to the ER and she agreed. Now, her dear sweet hubby who is 90 and has Alzheimer's Dse said he would drive her...NOT gonna happen on my watch! Instead, Mr H came right over so we could go. They were very nice at the hospital...her blood pressure was 190/70....they ran some tests, gave her a pill and a few hours later... by 11 pm, we were back home, her pressure dropped to 148/70...good...a bit tired this morning...but it is for a very good reason. Her daughter lives in CA and son in NM so I am like the daughter she did not raise. We were only too happy to help. Well, Zoe is finally off the bed and wants needs to get right I will sign off for now...oh and there is no stitching to least none that you can see yet!
Have a good day....

A windy Monday...

It is mighty windy out there...just may have to take down the chimes....they are hitting everywhere. Love the sound of the chimes...each has it's own sound.  Each of my chimes has a story...and each are my favorite.
Well, I am almost afraid to type the next words...Mr H is much better...he was actually a human again yesterday. This is the 3rd week so it may be the end of the virus for him. He is not feeling so weak and tired.
My call from he Attic came on Saturday. BBD A  Stitcher's Journey and Basket of Memories, Remember Me. I did a little stitching this morning....stitch break is over. I go crazy when I do  not stitch! I also managed to complete Milady and Sewing Bird Pin keep. Let's go  to my other place and see how they turned out.....

Where have I been? posts for a few days....but I have kept busy...unfortunately, I can not show what I have been doing! Why you ask...a few of the "things" I am working on are it is hush hush until they are sent and received.
I will have a picture of my pinkeep to post tomorrow...getting ready to sew it together. And hopefully the Sewing Girl pillow will be complete.....just need to get the sewing machine ready....and sew!
These are the fabrics I am working with. The burgundy print is for Sewing Girl...the others are the gifts I mentioned. My fingers are itching to stitch, so I will pick up on of the Challenge projects today...not sure which one.
Thank you for the feel better wishes for Mr H. I think he is starting to feel better. I talked to a nurse yesterday who said this virus hit hard and it takes time to recover. So I will be patient for him as he is loosing his! Our temps the last couple of days have been 80...and again today....ahhhhh! So glad you visited with me today... until tomorrows posts....have a great Sunday.
