On another note; Terri from threadsthroughouttime.blogspot.com/ is having a drawing...stop by and visit with her.

TUSAL

My mason jar is starting to overflow....I suppose I could squish down the threads...I just finished an ornament and it was all the greys and teal that you see...but the wine threads are the new project just begun. I have been having lots of enjoyable stitiching moments!

Welcome November~~~

A new month, and a new finish! Just completed and ready to show...BBD Small Token. I am pleased with the outcome. The fabric in the picture is what I used for the backside. I love the cotton lace I picked up at JoAnn's. I had to make a few minor adjustments, for my initials and the date. I used 32ct. linen from my stash and DMC colors. I have 3 patterns at the ready...which will I choose? Decisions... descisions....well, I will sit with them again and try to decide. Right now it is noisy and hard to think. The landscapers have arrived! Thanks for stopping by and visiting...

Happy Hallow's Eve

Well, can you believe that October has come to the end? Yesterday, Saturday, was quite the day...I worked (JoAnn's Fabrics) and if one customer came to the fabric desk for costume help, there must have been 50...all last minute stuff and most with no idea of what they needed. Putting that aside, I pierced my left thumb nail with a pin. That's right, I actually put a safety pin into my thumb nail! Needless to say, work was painful and I could not wait to go home.

Just when I felt I hated Saturday, I arrived home to a package. Yes, my package from Cat's (kttycatcrossstitchblog.blogspot.com/) give away arrived to brighten my spirits.
As you can see, it was full of wonderful goodies. The ghost is a felt bag which held: a jar of candy, a snoopy magnet, a "bug" lolly pop, a pumpkin fob, a note pad and pen, a pin keep, a pair of socks and did I mention a ton of Halloween confetti?! Well, after trying to scoop up all the confetti which flew everywhere....I of course had to have a candy from the jar. The fabric Cat used on the back of the pin keep is really a perfect choice. Thank you Cat for a wonderful prize and having it arrive on a day that I really needed something nice.
