Finally back to posting~~~

I feel as though it has been forever since my last post!...Lots to post so I best get started.
First...Patty C  and I did a private exchange...look what arrived for me...

But look inside these cute packages...

A pretty selection of threads on a stand...a needle holder, a pin keep and pincushion...and in my favorite colors too!
such detail!

exquisite work...
Next I received a PIF from Elisa

Isn't this pretty...and the card was "tasty"!Just wanted those donuts!
I guess you can say I did okay with gifts...it helped since the computer was on the blink...about that...I had it cleaned out and checked by the Geek Squad and I am back up and running. Next step will be to replace it as it is a bit old. I just mailed out my Spring Exchange gift but you will have to wait to see that...it has some distance to travel.
The temps here in Arizona have been warm...93 yesterday.Next week at this time my brother arrives for a 4 day visit.
I did lots of stitching on my day 9 piece....want to see...meet me over at my other place....I have missed all of your blogs and will try to catch up...thank you for sharing some time with me. Have a great day.

Mail Delivery....from the UK and a giveawy

How nice to come home from work and find...a package...for me and just me....
I had been selected by Viv to receive a PIF... isn't it nice. I can't wait to make the needle case... and what a nice scissor and beautiful fob...

This is the other side...love the colors and the design. Thank you Miss Viv.....the bed and tassel...I love it. I had posted for me to sponsor a PIF...no takers...maybe it was because I was a new blogger and no one knew what to expect...I am going to post for it as a RAK, here and now....just need to be a follower....with or without a blog....I also am collecting that special Birthday date., so send me the Bday by email and post here for the PIF.
I got a cut on my finger ...now don't get upset...but please feel free to feel bad...one of my fingers  on my right hand, at work on a cardboard edge...big ouch...so I will not do any challenge stitching today. I find it difficult to do anything with a band aid on my fingers! But....I am going to finish some machine stitching...would like to have a few things in the mail on Monday.
Dawn is having a giveaway...stop by here to have a chance to win.
So glad you stopped by to visit and as always, thank you for your comments and emails. Have a wonderful day. I am taking my coffee and the morning paper out to the lanai...too nice to be indoors right now. Hugs to you all............

What a nice surprise!

I just found out that I was selected for another PIF from Elisa...so I really am looking for those interested in my PIF...times 2! Remember, you will receive from me sometime during 2011 and you will post to hold a PIF on your blog. Not too bad, because you/I will have the whole year to make/send a gift.
Also, another nice giveaway at Tricia's ...so stop. Tricia, like myself has set up a blog for the Crazy January Challenge...last time I checked, there were a lot of us Crazies! Going to be a busy year but lots of fun to follow.
It has been a busy day. I went to a local electronics store to try to purchase the PC Stitch program...(I have an old version)...but no luck. so I guess Amazon.com will be hearing from me.
Tomorrow night is the Christmas Open House here at our Condo Association. I started it some years back and it has been such fun to visit and enjoy refreshments at each stop by and visit with her. So, I have things to do and want need  to do some stitching just to relax. Yeah NE Patriots...one quarter left and the score 36-7...next week they play my boss' team the Packers...going to be tough if we do not win! Thanks for chatting with me....see you soon.

So who knew...well not me obviously!

Well, just when I think I have this blog under control, I see that I do not. First I would like to say that I wish there was a blog class...you know, where they tell/show you how to do this and that. Some of us are very good with needle and floss but challenged when it comes to computers. I can not figure out how to put labels on my posts, then if I did, how to have them available. I know, there is a help section, but sometimes it does not reach my brain. Then I got an email, a nice one, telling me that it is good to put info with the PIF host post. Well, this is my first time and I did not so here it is. I was chosen by Vivienne for her PIF and now I am hosting one. Once you sign up on my blog, and if you are picked, you agree to host a PIF on your blog. You will have 365 days to make and send to the 3 people who are picked from your blog and I will within the 365 days send to you. I hope that I am getting this right, if not  p l e a s e someone correct me. Also I will pick my 3 people by January 1st. I know Christmas is coming, but remember,  you have 365 days to fill your end of it. Now....on to other thoughts. It is actually a cool day here in Arizona....enjoyable after our long hot summer. I thought I would share this with you...

Just what is she thinking? I often wonder...now that she is 10 years old, she has changed so much...hears things when there is not a sound, barks at nothing in particular and sits with this look quite often. Oh well, guess I will not figure it out...so...back to stitching. I am just putting the final stitches on a Christmas piece and need to figure how I want to finish it.
