Happy 1st birthday Murphy
Yes....today this bundle of love is one year old. Who knew that he was much needed in this house! We met on December 3, 2019. The first time I laid eyes on him I told Alan and Lisa...I am not leaving without him and the rest is history. He is a smart boy. Murphy is a spoiled boy. He a bundle of energy. Murphy owns us.
From the moment he walked into the house he was comfortable and never whined or cried. Settled right in. Murphy has a special relationship with each of us and is fun to see the interaction. Just now he did not "get" mail because what came this morning, I needed so he just went into the desk trash basket and helped himself. Oh I almost forgot to mention that when any, I mean any box is delivered, it is his to tear up.... along with cereal boxes and any other food box. Did I mention he chews eats socks...specifically Alan's. Did I mention he does not sleep in the nice bed we bought him but stores his bones and toys in it. His favorite place to take things is under my bed. When he hides it is under the sofa with his butt hanging out. or next to the chair in full view.... he is a character.
So today Murphy will get a new Butcher bone, and a special hamburger tonight and his steamed froth when we have coffee later.
There is Schnauzer phrase...Everything is mine and what is yours is mine. That is our Murphy.
