So tell me, are you?

Today being Friday the 13th, I thought I should tell you....although I am quite superstitious about many things, this date is not one of them. Are you? This year has 3 and this day is the second one...one more to go and that will be in November. I did not realize that almost a week has passed since my last post. Days have gotten away from me. Mr H is doing great...and that is such a relief for me. Now I will concentrate on a few test that I need to take care of. Taking care of things, on Wednesday I just had to get....
yes, Snow White designed by The Primitive Hare...I just adore her designs.... I loved stitching Cinderella (posted here). So long ago I actually played records...and found this LP
and just had to have it. I really should get an album frame and display it.... as soon as I am finished with Red I will start on Snow White. I think I will have to get the linen first.... guess I should look into the linen stash....
Sorry I have not been a very good blogger lately, I think I will try to catch up this weekend. Thank you all for your kind wishes and thoughts and of course your friendship. I hope you have a marvelous day!

I would rather stitch

It is the time of year...taxes, clearing out files and organizing the garage. The taxes are off to the accountant, the files are cluttered and as for the garage, I did go in and put a wash on, but no straightening out the area.. No, I would rather spend my time stitching. Finally feel as if I can so I will.
If Red does not watch herself, the wolf will soon be closing in! I really enjoy this project.... love The Primitive Hare designs. Right now I am looking forward to her next in the series of fairy tales. She tempts me all the the time. I also am moving along on Pink Lady
not much more on this bustle/train part. I decided on the finish, bought some ribbons and pearls and ....... well, you will see. I saw (on line) another book I would like must have.... I need to wear blinders so I will not be distracted by all the lovely temptations.
I do believe the rain has disappeared and we will have a sunny day. Mr H and I are off to the doctor today...just a follow up but it will put a halt to some stitching for awhile. So until I must leave the house, I will stitch and okay, do some minor chores.... well at least finish the laundry. I am pacing myself! Glad to have you stop by and chat...hope your day is wonderful.

A New Year has arrived

Mr H celebrated the end of the year quietly with a nice home cooked meal and watching Poirot. The weather remained rainy all day and quite nippy for us.
My list for the New Year is made but how closely I follow it will be seen as each day passes. I am not sure why I really make these lists every time. Maybe so I think I am as organized as I want to be. The basket is full of projects, supplies are gathered for most and when I go to work today I will again need to buy some floss! I really think the Thread Faeries have a stash from my stash! I emailed Isabelle at The Primitive Hare to select my patterns...
and here they are! One of them will be my first start of the year....can you guess which it will be? I did not plan to add anymore to the basket, but I can not help myself! I already have a private Christmas Ornament exchange set up! I am hoping for a few more....I really liked the Christmas card exchange so I thought, let's continue through the year. The next exchange is starting so if you are interested in joining, please email me your mailing info by January 10th so I can add you to the list. Just a card  with a note for friendship...... our friendships are so important and  a note of friendship is a great way to begin a new year.
My wish for you and this new year  is that you have health, find happiness in the simple things, enjoy the company of loved ones and friends near and far. I am so lucky to have you all in my life.
