TGIF...

oh wait... I still have one more work day before my weekend starts. Here is one of the projects I have been working on

A free pattern for a Biscornu from Stickerin M B. It is a German blog and lovely designs.  I made a few changes... of course to personalize it. I added yellow beads instead of French knots.  I have just started the back side and hope to finish it by the weekend. I do not think I will stitch completely as the front. I like the sides to be different. We will see....
Mr H picked up the turkey for thanksgiving... well actually since it is just the 2 of us, it is a large breast. We do not make a big to do for the meal but I do like to have turkey on the special day. Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday. He will cook all the fixings and I will make the dessert. We were invited to join friends out to eat, but as they prefer to go out early  and Mr H is not an early eater... we plan to cook home. Oops, I mean he will do the cooking... no not me. I will bake bread also... still enjoying my bread machine and still looking for a nice light zucchini bread recipe.
I am still trying to catch up on my blog visits... it it not easy once you get behind! Speaking of behind, I best get mine moving... off to work today. Thank you for your kind words and for spending some time with me today. I do hope you have a great day.

It seems as if I missed this week--- too!

I have not blogged in almost a week and not visited blogs.... but I did stitch and I will show pictures tomorrow. I did work on my exchanges and get them ready to travel as well as the spiders and reindeer food..... so I did keep busy aside from work. Speaking of that, here goes another week before the big sale. Jo Ann's is starting this week with door busters and then of course we get Black Friday. I am off to fix my  breakfast... so do have a great day and I we will chat tomorrow.

Need a quiet relaxing day~~~~

What a week!  We were so busy at Jo Ann's these past 2 weeks.  I am glad it is Sunday and I have today and tomorrow off before beginning the next big sale. I have a Potato and Rosemary bread in the  machine... one laundry in the dryer and one in the wash.... and I plan to stitch real soon.  Reindeer food and Christmas spiders are getting ready to travel near and far..... my exchanges are ready to post except for the one I am finishing this weekend. I am humming along.  Have you seen the Gingerbread Mouse pattern by Just Nan.... one of my fav designers... I must get it! I am not in the mind to drive to Mesa to The Needlework shop,  so I may have it sent to me. It is got to hang on my tree this year.  The temps have certainly dropped here in Arizona and it is about time.  We moved here for the wonderful climate, but enough of the hot days. I need cool weather to think about Thanksgiving and Christmas.
'I would be remiss if I did not say thank you to all who gave/give me freedom.  Until my dad died in 1985, he always bought sis Lynowl and me a red poppy to wear.  I do not see them of late but I still remember.
