Mail Delivery.....Mail Delivery

Don't you just love getting mail? Okay, not all mail. But the mail that is just for you... just for your pleasure. I signed up for the chance of a travelling pattern over at Lee's place and found that Lee decided to send to Annette....no blog...yet!...and then asked Annette to forward to me!

Yesterday there it was... but not only did the pattern arrive, but a lovely package from
Annette.

Annette is a very card maker. Just look at the envelope and the notes...all made by Annette. But look at what she sent me....a beautiful piece of lavender fabric...shade of purple threads and a fob... yes in shades of purple. She knows my favorite color.

What a beautiful envelope... with wonderful trim....I won't tell you what it started as unless Annette does not mind...but she is creative.

I Love these travelling patterns. We each stitch them but they all look different. Lee of course used the kit threads. She gave a list of recommended DMC and Annette added a few color changes  and now I will be sending this off once again...as soon as I stitch it... with a few changes of my own.   This pattern has come from New Zealand, gone to California and now here to Arizona....where will it travel next???? So watch for the sending off post....hopefully soon.

I guess this means a little less work on the Penny Rug Mat, on the Hawaiian Quilt and with the BBD...I don't think so! I will manage to get time on all of them.... somehow!

I will leave you with the face that keeps Mr H happy...no not mine...but Zoe...

This was yesterday. We were sitting out on the lanai and she could not make up her mind to join us or stay indoors. She finally came outside. Thank you for isting with me today. I love hearing from you all and I visit all of you by days end. Have a wonderful day....

Just a quick note

Just a quick note today...
I have  a few more of my pennies stitched....I am re-starting a BBD, and got lost in my craft closet.
The Penny Rug mat is really an easy and relaxing project. I hope to be finished this weekend. Nothing to really photograph at this point. I picked up a BBD project that I had started during one of Mr H's hospital stays. I guess since we have had no further trips there, I forgot about it. I kept a tote bag for the ready with things to do, a magazine to read and snacks. When I looked at the stitching I decided I did not pay attention when I started it and was not pleased with it.... so..... Fred helped me remove what had been done and now I am starting over. I went to the closet to put one thing away this morning. That did it... one thing led to another and 1 hour later.... you get the picture. Now I think I will relax with my coffee (which by now is cold... that's alright, I love iced coffee) and the morning paper. A few errands to run today then I will relax with my stitching.
The Tree Mallow is in beautiful bloom right now...

I love the sun lighting up the petals.....there is a strawberry that I am guarding that is getting pink.... a few more tomatoes to munch. I pick, rinse and snack on them. I love these small varieties.
It has been so nice having you visit. I welcome a few new friends and thank you all for spending time and taking time to chat. I love hearing from you. If I can get past a few of the Robot Obstacles, I will leave you a message. I think I may just email when I have problems with comment posting.  I do hope you have a marvelous day.

A little cloudy but Saturday was great....

Mr H and I spent Saturday roaming around North Scottsdale. Specifically having appetizers at Cheesecake Factory. I of course added a Mojitio...yum. We had Firecracker Shrimp and Grilled Artichoke halves and Mr H had needed a hot fudge sundae. The chocolate sauce was spoon delicious. I did have to test taste it. This was at Kierland Commons shopping area. After filling ourselves with nourishment, we decided to walk about. That is when this came into view...

Oh yes.... a Lamborghini...in full glory. The trunk is clear glass so that the engine is fully visible. This is a dream vehicle.  See the couple in the window? The guy and I chatted and he offered to take me for a ride...problem... it was not his! The little boy sitting on the bench could not take his eyes off it. But it was time to move along....

We found a Tommy Bahama Restaurant. I definitely want to have lunch there the next time we are at Kierland Commons. Mr H asked to see a menu and the girl gave him the lunch and dinner ones. When he said that he wanted one to take to look at, she said take them! Giving away their menus?  The $$$ are what you would expect for the place and area...but I still need to have lunch there.

All and all it was a nice day and it was nice to have Mr H feeling up to the outing.  I did manage to get a few pennies stitched for my mat...

only 7 to go....

I plan to stitch on this project today. I must admit that there are two... yes two projects calling to me. I am going to try not to sway. You know how hard that can be. They are just waiting. All ready to go but not in hand. One is even on my work table already! Then I spied the Just Nam Humbug in the closet.... oh only two hands one head but a stitchers heart!
