I won Cat's Drawing!

I can not believe it! I never never win anything and here I did....the drawing at kttycatcrossstitch.blogspot.com/. Thank you Cat.

Well, I finished the finish for my ornament. This is the first one of this type that I stitched. It was from the JCC 2010 issue. The design is from The Sweetheart Tree..one of my favs. I used 32ct Belfast Lt Mocha linen and beads from my stash. I am happy with it.

I plan to make a few others, but first, I need to stitch one from my new stash .. BBD"s Small Token pincushion. That will be as soon as I return from work...in for a few hours tody...will be busy at JoAnn's....usual Saturday sale. Glad you stopped by to visit...see you later....

It's Saturday~~

It is 5:37am and all is so quiet.....I love the early morn. The only sounds are mine and mine alone. The moon is full in all it's glory.  As it is heading to the West, there are whisps of clouds across it casting curious shadows. There is always something magical in a full moon.

I will get to finish my ornament this morning, then on to something else...always on to another project. My eyes take in more than my hands can stitch! But isn't that what draws us to it all? The promise of another pattern...new colors..another finish. Well, back to my stitching table so I can hopefully post my ornament tomorrow.  I am working for a few hours later today. Oh Monday Monday~~~~can't trust that day.....(Mamas and Papas)

I am feeling a very slow start this week! I need a swift kick to get me going~~~~~~anyway, Cheerios (my favorite breakfast...(I have mine floating in my coffee!) gave this seed packet for Cancer awareness so hubby planted the little pink ribbon and we shall see if they grow.

Before I left JoAnn's Sunday, I purchased this nice kit from DMC. It has a little pink handled scissor, 28 pink plastic bobbins, a combination needle threader and a free pattern all inside a pink plastic pouch. A portion of the purchase($11.99) will be donated to local breast cancer organizations. I will check out the website for additional projects.

I just glanced at the clock and can not believe the time....where has my day gone...I have not picked up my needle or my book...

                                            I did do something....

I went out to buy a Banana Cream Pie.  I have a few friends stopping by tonight. Doesn't it look delicious? Yum!
