Mirror Mirror on the wall....

The day went well....I walked Bissell around the abode and even took Swiffer along. Laundry swished and fluffed. I began to plan my day...what shall we do? Oh yes, I want to tat... well maybe I should …. then okay find the Santa beading stuff.
Do you know this box? It is what Snow White's heart was suppose to be brought to the wicked Queen in.....see her face in the watch? This is of course from Disney. I love Snow White. The watch is a holographic so when I move it
now you can see the old hag witch! I have had this since forever …. actually since 1993. (stamped on the back of the watch)…. Now it holds the bead selection for my beaded Santa earrings....
Having it all together makes it simpler to work at any time.
I have given all the earrings I made last year away and do not even have a pair for myself, so that is what I plan to do this weekend...bead Santa earrings.
On Friday afternoon...late in the day I decided I wanted to try one of McDonalds's Cold Brew Frappe drinks. Since there is one not far from me off I went. The drink, small size came to $2.00 + tax. I hand the young girl $10.00 and then realize that I had the change amount. I then say... "Oh I can give you the correct change amount then I won't get any change in return, is that okay" her response..." Um, gee, not really. I am not good at math so this will be okay" ??????? How sad it is that she could not figure to return $8.00 to me. Mind you the manager was standing just feet away. (Please note: I am not saying that working in fast food is the reason for this...just that today young people do not understand counting back change as the register tells them what to do)
I will share something with you my friends. On Thursday last, I had a biopsy taken from my left breast and finally received the report...relieved to say it was benign. When the doctor was getting ready to do the surgery, I said...do not tell me what you are doing...we can just chat. He told me it would leave a scar. My reply was that's okay my bikini days are over. Well, the scar that I will have is 2 inches long and 11 stitches.....stitches will be removed on Monday. As it turned out the area was deeper than it looked. You know what, it is okay because the report came back good.
Now, off I go. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words and for your friendship.

Bobby~~~Keith~~~ the Geeks to the rescue

Well, first Bobby tried to help
with Dianna hiding behind him making hand signals.... of course when he sat at the computer to fix things
Dianna went looking for a snack and found potato chips to munch ! Try as he did the problem was not solved so we went thrift shopping instead and then to lunch...thank you for lunch Bobby. I found nothing to buy but of course Dianna always finds something(s). Good laughs and good friends make for a nice time.
Next up was Honey...AKA Keith.....solved it enough that I could upload pictures again and access my files with error messages but thought I better have the Geeks check it out. So, Robert with the Geeks did just that. Problem is that the program I was using Windows Live Gallery is not supported anymore by Windows 10. However, I can once again upload photos to the computer with 3 clicks and access my files..... that is making me a happy gal.
Doctor (PCP) appointment went well as it was a 3 month follow up but I did get a tetanus shot.... of course the wimp that I am, my shoulder is a little swollen and sore. I keep telling everyone that I am delicate...I am delicate.
This big guy decided to relax on his rock for a short time....then scooted off to hunt bugs.
He blends so well with the light rocks and even the rock where he usually sits. Sometimes I do not notice him until he sees me and moves. He better hope the Roadrunners stay away.
I finally settled to a little tatting and then got distracted again by who knows what. Lately I scatter my brain here and there. Today I hope to organize a few things around the hacienda and a few times have the laundry swishing and drying. I may even take Bissell for a walk around the place. When the refrigerator heard I might be replacing it (still plan to) it once again began to make proper ice. Finny how things happen. So, off I go to be useful around here. Glad to chat with and I just know that you are happy that my computer issues are okay now! Thank you for your kind words and most of all your friendship.

What is going on.....

Sometimes I wonder what who when and where and how....and not for English class. I should explain...
What happened in just a few days with my computer (desk top not lap top)
Who sabotaged it
When am I going to learn how to fix or better yet understand how to fix it
Where will I get help for it (Geek Squad?)
How is this going to end (kicking the damn thing might work)
There are times that I amaze myself with how I know what to do or understand things with the computer then like now, totally confused and must admit angry that I do not know what to do. Most likely it will be the Geek Squad that will be where I turn to. It is just annoying. Yesterday I could not upload photos from the camera that I have had for 2 years... I did perform this task on the 14th! Today I cannot access files! Today I cannot access any pictures from any file! Do I have time for this today? Well, maybe after the 11 am doctor appointment....maybe I can get the Geeks to work on this without taking the whole set up in to them. Frustrated when you are not  feeling your best is …. let's not go there. So this is my post for today. Clearly an unhappy gal who is not feeling great and …. of I go to get myself and the abode ready for the day. Hope you have a good.

So go figure, I was just able to upload this here.... this is why I am going crazy!

Hot and Humid with clouds and a chance for rain

The monsoon season....
Monsoon is traditionally defined as a seasonal reversing wind accompanied by corresponding changes in precipitation, but is now used to describe seasonal changes in atmospheric circulation and precipitation associated with the asymmetric heating of land and sea. ……
certainly has arrived this year unlike last year. Here in Arizona it starts June 15 and ends September 30 but the peak time is July -August.
The garden has suffered and I am realizing that I am not very good with the cacti in the garden! Seems that a couple will not make it. They will remain until the very end just in case they are in shock for the rain that we have had. They love the heat so it is not that. My beautiful bouquet has finally died but the beauty of the sunflower for me remains....
I have saved the two from the vase and will continue to enjoy them.
For some reason I am unable to upload any photos from my camera.... just another burp to contend with. I even tried using the memory card... so... no other pictures until I figure this out.
This morning I am making Almond Biscotti. As hot as it is the oven will not be on all that long and I will use the fan to draw out the heat anyway. Iced Tea is made for Dianna who will be here this morning....fresh brewed English Breakfast. So, time to make the biscotti...
Glad you stopped by and I thank you for the kind words and for your friendship.
EvaP update: Thank you Lynda Ruth...she received the large print word search and loves it. Also she is so excited to show her new friends the lovely cards and the notes she has received. I thank you all so much!
