Here we are, October.... The Arizona temps are still in the 90s. Monsoon season is over and this year it has been productive with rain. Hoping for the cooler weather to arrive soon.
I am really enjoying stitching the mosaic stitch. Ernie the Dog is finished and now I am working on the cat. For so many years my handwork had been serious stitching, counted cross stitch and some embroidery. Recently my thoughts go to learning something different. There is a slight problem though. Where are these new wonderful .going? I have been trying to eliminate some things from my room, my sanctuary. The Brother Alan has a staff member who has 2 darling little girls who I sent some dolls. It feels good to know someone is playing with my creations. I had also sent a few collectible dolls to my great niece Natalia, and she was so happy to have them. My granddaughter Rosie also received a few dolls. I am sure you know about the Porch Goose craze. It was popular some time ago and now has come back. I thought about it but it would drive Sammy crazy to see a goose out front. So, meet Millie......She lives in my room and she is getting ready for Halloween. Millie is about 14 inches from her butt to top of head. The pattern did not have wings so I made my own. You sometimes need to adjust a pattern and be creative. There are so many new things to try but where do I find the time. My problem is going through the faerie door to often.

Another Alan and Lisa Sky photo. ....
Butterfly NebulaThis Cygnus field shows the red hydrogen-emission clouds of IC 1318B, part of the Butterfly Nebula near Sadr. Dark interstellar dust cuts through the glowing gas, while a rich Milky Way star field surrounds it.
