Time to clean out

Spent the last 2 days looking through the closet of stash..... why do we collect patterns that we will never stitch? Even if they are freebies, does not mean they will become projects. So, I am tossing and hope to gift a few things....

This is a complete set of Flip Its; January to December and some still have the charms but unfortunately some do not. Where they have gone is a mystery. I have never stitched any of them and if by now this is so, it is never going to happen. They need a new home....any takers?????
While looking through the smalls, I also found these
never stitched and never to be by me....they would like to be real so they also need a new home.....
The plan is to revisit every month or so all the items in the craft closet...next up will be magazines.... so if you are looking for some stash, look here and let me know if you are interested.
Laundry number 2 is in the wash and maybe we will do a number 3 this morning. I definitely need another cup of coffee and my feet up. Did a bit on Red yesterday...the wolf is getting a tail. Almost finished with it. I must start on a few Christmas ornaments....I had hoped to have a few completed by now... the thought was there. It sure has been nice having you visit with me today....thank you for the kind words....have a wonderful day.

I am a tortoise

To be truthful, at times I have started and finished a project very quickly.... not as a race, but simply as I enjoyed working on it. I never stitch for a deadline. Now, it is finished when it is, when I can work on it. I have become the tortoise and lost is the hare....
I am really happy with this project. I had the tassel for ages and it is just the perfect colors and found the buttons in my button jar and had the right pink pearl cotton....was meant to go together. This was a great project and enjoyable to make. It would also make a lovely fabric bowl...
just using 6 of the pentagons.....maybe I will do another this way. Yes, I know I will.... the mental wheels are already turning and I am sure I have just the right fabric in one of the bins. Of course, I will give my hand a rest from sewing for a few days. I must give some attention to Red....
Can I believe it is already August.... no, it is impossible but true. The monsoon storms have been playing around Arizona. We actually had rain the other evening...a fair amount. The clouds fill the sky daily with huge puffs of white looking a lot like whipped cream. With the monsoon not only is the triple digit temperatures, but humidity..... quite uncomfortable to be outside. But sometimes it is a must...
Mr H climbed the ladder to trim down the ever growing Honeysuckle that has been taking over the wall in the yard. I think it is about 12 feet high! Every time he trims this back, he tells me that he will keep it at a manageable height...okay. Well, guess that is about it my friends. I need a cup of coffee and breakfast.....wish I could sit outside with it. Glad you visited today. Thank you for the kind words and most of all your friendship. Have a wonderful day.
