I see the moon but does the moon see me?

A glorious moon last evening.... it was still humid and very warm at 10 PM. This morning we had some thunder and lightening and drizzle....guess this day will be  cloudy, hot and humid. The only draw back is that the roofers are not working right now.... I was hoping they would have finished my roof today so that I could re-hang some of my things back on the walls. Oh well.....probably have to wait until Monday now. We, Mr H and I do not have any plans for the 4th...if you do, enjoy but stay safe. Last weekend we had a monsoon storm and our glass table....

blew over in the high winds and is no longer a glass table. With this also the umbrella toppled and broke so we replaced it...

with this bright lime green. We plan to add a small gazebo but not until all the roofing is finished. Anyway, it is too hot to sit outside anyway but the plants need the umbrella for shade. I miss sitting out under the umbrellas stitching...I miss stitching! I am going to stitch today on/off. Being that I do so 2 handed, it should not be too much of an issue. I am going for therapy evaluation on Tuesday morning. I plan to bring a project so that they can see what I do..... the needles and such. In that way they will be able to help me to continue with my crafts. If you follow me on FB you saw the current picture of my hand. No matter what I do I can only so for short periods. I so appreciate the concern you have shown for me and the kind thoughts..... your friendship is most important. I am lucky to count you as a friend. With that, it is time for a cup of coffee and give my hand a rest from the typing. If you are celebrating the 4th, please be careful and safe in your travels.

Good news ----not so good news and the roof

Yesterday as I sat on the sofa reading the newspaper sipping my coffee, the roofers began their work. We asked to have the skylight in the living room removed, this I guess was the day. All of a sudden there was light poring in from the ceiling and a hand drops down! I got up to look.....

this is who belonged to that hand. I was glad I had dressed already! The work continued and finally the opening is covered and shingles in place. I have to admit that it was rather noisy up on the roof...I was glad to be off to work. On Monday Mr H and I returned to the doctor to get the results of my MRI and blood work. The good news; no cancer or auto-immune issues. The bad news is that he has no fix. He called a doctor who specializes in hand issues (not a surgeon) and he has agreed to see me. There are 2 options at the moment. First would be to cast my hand to make it immobile for one month followed by therapy, the second is extensive therapy to try to eliminate the mass that is there.  I am opting for the therapy. In the meantime, my doctor has put me on release from work for one month so that I can rest the hand. He expects me to not to use the hand.... I cannot think of not stitching! Red is so close to finishing----- maybe a few stitches here and there..... that about tells my story. We have been having some monsoon storms...more about that later....right now I need my coffee and something to eat..... Thanks for stopping by to see me.....hope you have a great day.
