April has gone and May is here.... it happened quickly. So you ask what have I been doing. Well today so far; washed the kitchen floor, picked out a couple of pieces of fabric for a couple more masks. I made one each for Alan and Lisa and myself. The vacuum is ready to roll around and
Murphy is trying to decide whether to go for a walk. He has been on garden patrol…. not happy that Doves live in the Ficus tree outside our wall, not happy with sounds and concerned with the towel wrapped around my washed hair. The sound of the shower had him in in hiding! At the moment he is napping on the coffee table shelf.
The temps have been in the triple digits but today a cool down to 99. Last week found me flat on my back one day ...then off to get injections for the second time in April and now on Monday Alan will take me back for the nerve burn procedure. As it is on my right side and my leg will be numb for a few hours I can not drive myself. Not too much to do for arthritis, but I am trying to at least eliminate most of the pain. I am still remaining in home with very few exceptions. Yes, I am lucky, Alan and Lisa can pick up what we might need and taking Murphy for a walk is what I do. When I do run an errand it is get go..get..return quickly. Even if the restrictions are lifted, I will not rush to get my hair cut, or to go shopping...Lisa and I do that on line! I truly understand for the businesses and the people out of work but I am not ready to get back into the race. I hope all of you are being extra careful. Glad for the visit with you today. Thank you for the kind words and for your friendship.
