It's Saturday already ?????

Well, I am not sure what is going on....it is Saturday! I am off to work.... but I will have a busy post tomorrow and some of it is Dear Ziz's fault! that's right....see you tomorrow......

Just tired.....

What's happening you ask?????
Work was busy... ..... Mr H will have the next surgery on Dec 6th..... I have tomorrow off ... then back to work Saturday. I thought a minute about having a glass of wine, but I better have the hot tea instead.

I managed to almost finish another ornament.... I will get it finished this weekend. I will have good stitch time next week. I work Fri and Sat...two eight hour days!!! But it is Black Friday/Saturday and they expect to be very busy.

Well, better make that tea before I forget and reach for the wine! Glad you stopped by......

good mail...2 days in a row

Well my dear friends, Mr H and I had 2..... count them .... one.... two.... good days but today he is not feeling well. I have a call in to the doctor....

we seem to be on this curvy road to..... ?where?

Monday we picked up a few plants...3 tomato, a Hibiscus , a strawberry and a sorted group to put here and there.  He did it over the 2 days as he could. It was nice seeing him outside planting.

But, on a happy note, yesterday I heard a thunk in the mail box. I quickly went to hte garage to check and there was this large white envelope and heavy too....

I had won a drawing from Blu Stitcher and they are lovely books. Then today I heard a quieter mail drop and included in the regular junk delivery was ......

yes! my Secret Pen Pal letter/card! She wrote such a lovely note... I can't wait to find out who she is. And that will be in our next mailing.  This has been fun. I would love for this to happen again..... maybe it will!
These blog friendships have been wonderful.

I have been busy busy with my gift stitching... so no stitch pictures today. I am only working Thursday and Saturday this week so it means more time to stitch. I can't tell you how much the kind words have meant to me.... thank you from the bottom of my toes..... have a good day at your place.

Time in a bottle~~~~~~

Oh don't I wish! I really wish I could bottle some time so when I feel the need it would be right there. I woke late today .... 6am ... and yes for me that is late. I want a lazy day but there are errands to run ... milk and bread to get ... and I want to just sit and stitch. It is a wonderful comfortable day out so maybe even sit outside with my project.

Remember my post about wanting to make a creative doll... well dolls ... ? I  found a local group who does just that! Yes ... and I met with some of the ladies on Saturday night. The group is led by Gloria Nickolis....

Cloth & Mixed Media Art Doll Club is the name and they meet at  a Hobby Lobby very nearby. Actually, Gloria and I had met before ... she is a Jo Ann fabric shopper and I have cut fabric for her. I am looking forward to the next meeting and learning from these other ladies. I know, do I actually need to be involved in something else? the answer is simple ... YES.

My stitching of late is for gifts so there are no pictures to post yet. I am planning on doing the final finishing on several of them at the same time. Then they will be ready for the post.

Mr H is holding on ... still waiting for the next surgery date. Good days and off days. Thank you all for the wonderful words of support. I am happy to have your visits...enjoy your day.
