Hot clouds

Clouds fill the sky and the heat is on. Effective tomorrow we are in a severe heat advisory...what? we have not been in heat? Well, this morning as I opened my eyes at 5am it was already 94 and tomorrow and Tuesday may reach 113. Let me just say that it really is not very different from 105 to 113...at least what I am feeling. Hot is hot is hot ---no two ways about it. Out for one errand at 10am when the pharmacy opens and that will be it. The comfort of my abode is necessary.
While looking for my Christmas fabric I came across these Disney prints…..Cinderella, Lady ad the Tramp and the Evil Disney ladies. I bought them with no plans except that I wanted them. I think I have 1-2 yards each.... just because. Anyway, I did finally reach the Christmas fabric in the bin......
More than I remembered having. Should be able to make a few stars! there is of course the other that cannot be used as the print is too large....
This scenery print has it all, coyotes, cacti chili peppers ad all thigs Southwest.
Shiny boots and holly trimmed hats.....
Not Christmas but just Southwest prints..... just because I liked them
Just love chili pepper print. I did think about making an apron or two … or a table topper. They are all back in the bin. Over the next few days I will cut the star strips and press the fabric. Having everything ready makes the project go smoothly. For today, I will read a little and relax.
Hope your plans for this day are relaxing, if not then hope they ae fun. Thank you for visiting and your kind words and for your friendship.

Hope you keep cool, Gracie! I have been in 114 degree weather before, out I-10 heading out toward California, and to me it's hard to breathe. Love your Southwest fabrics. I have some too and keep threatening to make projects bags and pincushions out of them! Have a good Sunday with the ac going full blast:)

Wow, you have some great fabrics! I hope you'll find good use for all of them soon. I especially love the Disney ones and the peppers!

I had a box of Christmas fabrics that I purchased at an Estate Sale for $5. It had over 30 different pieces of fabric. Alas, I gave most of it to the school last year! Otherwise, I would have given it to you for your stars. I'm getting ready to go through my cross stitch stuff again and see what I can donate.
Don't overdo it in this heat!

Awesome fabric. The Disney prints would make cute pillows or a childs quilt, or an apron I think. LOVE all the Christmas Prints, may goodness you can make almost anything with the variety you have. We've been toasty too, but I happen to like it. Though it does make working out in the yard a bit of a chore. Been trying to drink more water and Gatorade to compensate.

Wow your page security has really been beefed up, had to answer 3 pages of those picture things to prove I wasn't a robot.
