Early morning quiet

I love the quiet of the early morning  Before the sun is bright and only the sounds of the hummingbird visiting the feeder. We finally have early cool temps so the slider is open and as I sit here I can listen to the gurgle of the pond water. If I approach the  pond slowly, the fish can be seen floating lazily close to the  surface. It is a small pond, but very nice to have. Lizards scurry around as they see or hear me outside. Just me...Mr H is still asleep and Ms Zoe is too.
I have been stitching and getting ready to do the final finishing on  a few projects. Then they will be ready to mail off for my exchanges. I will be making some of those Christmas spiders this weekend and then they too will be ready to scatter around to new homes for the  holiday. I am almost ready with my SSCS package.... This is my second year that I am participating. You can click on the picture right side bar to read all about it.
Look what I found in my garden this morning...
Mr H said as long as I was making spiders, how about a black and red one for him....Be ready to let me know what color you would want for your Christmas tree....soon I will be  posting and then selecting.... so watch for the post soon.
Speaking of Christmas trees.... I found this to add to my tree this year... well one of my trees...
She is simply labeled Russian Doll... I do love these Matryoshka dolls and over the weekend found a few cross stitch patterns. I see a few free standing dolls in my future. But for now, I think a cup of coffee and toast with Prickly Pear Jelly is the only thing in my immediate future. So happy to have you visit with me today. Thank you for the kind words. I love hearing form you. Welcome to a few new friends..... have a great day.

OMG I would run a mile if I found a spider like that.

That's such a bright spider! I'm not sure how I would react to that guy in my garden...

Prickly Pear Jelly sounds interesting. I didn't know such a thing existed!

Before now, I have always hated spiders, but your is so cute! I think red and gold one would be very nice for a traditional Xmas tree.

i think that orange and black/purple would be great for the halloween tree and then pink/yellow ones for the easter tree.
