It was good yesterday to be able to use my hand and not have my finger in pain.. or my hand for that matter. It is so frustrating not to be able to do everyday things..... then again, it was a little rest.
This was on my beading mat and I got to almost finish this gift pod. I already have another pod, not a gift in the waiting. I am waiting for a designer to lease another cute pod that I will make as gifts. I hope she does it soon..... maybe if I ask her nicely.
Very humid today...at least for us here in The Valley. So far this Monsoon has been lacking. We really need some rain.
Finally went for my haircut on Thursday evening. Always nice when strangers tell you how nice you look!
I have been enjoying Le Tour de France. The scenery is beautiful. The spectators are crazy....as are the local animals. One recent day a very large cow attempted to go onto the road to join the riders! On Friday, the weather began to change drastically and snow and ice began to fall blocking the roadway on the descent from the mountain so they had to call the race.... many of the riders were upset as it cause the leadership for the stage to change. Looking forward for todays race. I had stopped following the Tour when the issue with Lance Armstrong happened. So many changes since then.
How about an update on mom...aka Eva P...her shoulder brace has been removed and the nurses say she is doing good. Now I am asking for you all to keep Glenda in your thoughts... and The Brother Alan …. both of them are not feeling the greatest right now. Always something isn't it.
Sorry for the short post.... glad that you stopped by. Thank you for your kind words and for your friendship.

I am so glad your mom is doing good. I did send her a card a few weeks ago. I am glad you are improving too of course Gracie.
Glad you are feeling better. It is humid here too today. I have my greenhouse outside on the porch and have filled it with veg's and flowers to grow. I got lettuce growing and planted carrots, parsley and stocks(that's a flower). I had to move the lettuce from the front garden because it was too hot for them and they where wilting so in a long pot on the porch in the shade. I put more black earth there and planted peas. Hope they come up good. I planted glad's but it's not working out very good. They seem to be dying on me. I will have to try somewhere else when I get more bulbs next year. I don't understand why you can't get thru on my email. It hasn't changed.
Have a grand day. love and hugs Lynda Ruth
Glad you're on the mend! I always enjoy seeing your beading work. It is so lovely. I really enjoy the color combinations you use. Beautiful work!
Lovely to read your hand is improving and Eva P is doing well.
Get well soon brother Alan
I'm glad your hand is doing better.
How crazy that the tour was held up by a snowstorm while all of central Europe was in the middle of a heat wave!
I hope everyone is feeling a bit better now, and that is incredible with the Tour. Lovely work!
