It all started sometime Wednesday night.... the rain began to fall and the sky has not stopped letting it all out. We do not get much rain here in The Valley, but every so often it happens.
Yesterday for a brief time we had thunder, lightening and hail...I know the picture is not the greatest...but those little white specks are hail. At times it poured and the wind was blowing...a real storm!
At the moment it is very cloudy and gloomy and the rain has stopped. A good morning for the Faeries to ….oh right, they have not been coming around to do chores... so, I will get the swishing started and the Bissell walking. We are called The Valley of the Sun...not sure when I will be saying that. The 7 day forecast predicts the sun will return tomorrow and remain for the upcoming week. A wait and see for sure.
I think it is official, the Dove has returned to start a family. I only see one Dove around the garden so that may be a problem...if I am not mistaken it takes two to make a family! Once the eggs are in the nest they will take turns … She at night and He during the day. The only issue I have this time around is where they are making the nest.... in an open planter with not much protection from the sun and weather. To think last week I had planned to remove the planters from the wall!
It is Friday! This means only a few more days and the stitches will be removed! I have already misplaced a few of them.... I think with changing the band-aids. The bruising is mostly disappeared and the fingers less sore. The first thing I plan to do is soak my poor dry hand in a warm soapy bath. The second thing is to find a project to work on! I already took the craft cart out of hiding.
Coffee and toast finished so onto doing the Faeries' jobs. Glad you stopped by today. Thank you for your kind words and your friendship.

Not long until you can craft again! Very exciting, you will be spoiled to decide what to start first.
So glad your had is doing well. Weather is still cold here in Utah and it is snowing here again. I rather like rain and thunder and lightening I think it is exciting and I know it will not last long. Snow however stays around tooooo long.

Hi Gracie: I am happy your hand is getting better, I bet you can hardly wait to get a needle and thread in your hands.
I think the male makes the nest then the female comes to lay eggs.
I hope that the sun does not bother them too much maybe you could move the planter a few inch's a day to get them into shade, moving it too much at once may scare them away.
We are getting more snow tomorrow we have already beat the states record, we will be beating it by lots of inch's by the end of the season. ICK.

Hopefully the rain will let up soon and the sun will shine once again.
So happy your hand is much better.
Not so good about your weather, here our weather is really good for this time of the year. have a fab weekend.
I am ready to get crafting! Here it is Saturday ad the sun is showing itself...maybe no more rain?
Take care you don't jump in too quickly to crafting once the stitches come out Grace, take your time.
You'll be pleased when the stitches are out. I wonder what craft project will be the first you choose.
Hail surely is no usual sight in the desert! I hope it wasn't too bad.
